On his Instagram page, Sanchez shared a few videos of arguments he had with his trainer, Joshua Fabia, over how the commentary team was unfairly portraying Sanchez. According to Fabia, the group was trying to defame Sanchez. His allegations included that the UFC was filming him to showcase Fabia’s unconventional coaching methods or to catch him and Sanchez in awkward situations. Since Sanchez began working with him, Fabia’s controversial training sessions—which included Fabia chasing his fighters around with a knife—have been extensively documented in the media. Diego was fired from the UFC following the publication of these tapes.
