Whatsapp Allegedly struck down with server issues worldwide.

Facebook owned whatsapp has a server issue worldwide in regards to the uploading and downloading of media right now.

This problem did not affect to sending and downloading of pictures, videos, musics and stickers but it also affects statuses uploaded on the application as well.

This problem seems to be worldwide problem as many users has confirmed that the application is currently down. Moreover, Whatsapp web and the PC application seems to work perfectly fine.

As such, no specific pattern can be ascertained for now in terms of whether it has to do with certain device types, or whether it is a location-based problem. With the #WhatsAppDown hashtag becoming a global trend in the past hour or so on Twitter, there have been numerous reports in this regard worldwide.

Facebook has not made any announcement through official channels as of yet. However, we will keep you posted as soon as more information becomes known.
