Barbara Spradling was born in 1979 in the United States. She is a businesswoman and creativity consultant with a base in Charlotte, North Carolina. From 2008 to 2012, she served as the Innovation Institute’s Director at the McColl Center for Visible Art. Prior to this, she spent more than 20 years as a senior vice president at Bank of America, where she was responsible for overseeing the implementation of key domestic and international business projects, particularly in the areas of operations, technology, finance, and risk. She alsodesigned and coordinated the execution of organized disaster management initiatives, business restoration programs, and information restoration programs most recently after leading natural catastrophes and terrorist attacks throughout the world.
The Charlotte Enterprise Journal’s Girls in Enterprise Achievement Award and the Dolly Award for Excellent Child Advocate both went to Spradling. Additionally, in 2005, she received a diploma from the Innovation Institute on the McColl Heart for Visible Artwork.
