Carlos Javier Correa Oppenheimer Jr. commonly known as Carlos Correa is a professional baseball short stopper. He played for Minnesota Twins in the Major League Baseball. Carlos was born on September 22, 1994 in Ponce, Puerto Rico. He is currently 27 years old.

He was a former player of the Houston Astros, the team which drafted him in 2012. In his debut, Carlos went 1-for-4 with an RBI single off Chris Sale in a 3-1 loss to the Chicago White Sox. Correa stole his first base of his professional career on June 9, 2015, off Zach Duke. After Rickey Henderson, who beat Correa by 21 days, he became the second-youngest player to steal three bases in his ninth game.
He has won numerous honors, including those for World Series champion (2017), All-Star (2017), AL Rookie of the Year (2015), World Baseball Classic All-Tournament Team (2017) among others.
