In the Paris suburb of Maisons-Laffitte, Watson was born and raised. When her parents were divorced, Watson moved to England to live with her mother in Oxfordshire while spending weekends at her father’s house in London.
Watson claims to be able to communicate in French, albeit “less successfully” than she formerly could. After relocating to Oxford with her mother and brother, she attended the Dragon School and lived there until 2003. When she was six years old, she began training at Stagecoach Theatre Arts in Oxford, a part-time theatre school, because she knew she wanted to be an actress.
She pursued singing, dancing, and acting there.

The Harry Potter actress, 31, has homes in both London and New York, but she has spent most of her time there. The actress was seen smiling in pictures taken last week as she stocked up on furnishings, completely filling the trunk with her car.
