Bryson Cole Sands is a professional baseball pitcher who was born in the United States on July 17, 1997. He made his MLB debut in 2022. Baseball was Cole’s sport of choice while he was a student at the North Florida Christian School in Tallahassee, Florida, where he also attended.

When he was a senior, he had an earned run average of 0.32. After completing his senior year, the Houston Astros selected him in the 22nd round of the 2015 Major League Baseball draft. However, he did not sign with them and instead enrolled at Florida State University (FSU), where he played baseball for the collegiate team.

Sands continued his pitching career at Florida State University as a sophomore, appearing in 18 games and making 17 starts while compiling a record of 6-4 with a 5.40 earned run average. He was a member of the Falmouth Commodores of the Cape Cod Baseball League during the summers of 2016 and 2017, when he played collegiate baseball.
