In the English county circuit of cricket, he plays for Yorkshire, and he has also competed in a number of Twenty20 leagues, including the Indian Premier League for both Sunrisers Hyderabad and Punjab Kings.
Bairstow was a member of Yorkshire’s second XI team during the 2008 season of cricket. He played in six championship matches, scoring 308 runs over the course of those games for an average of 61.60.
Jonny was selected to be part of the first-team squad for the final County Championship match of the season, which was played against Sussex, but he was not chosen to start the game.
Despite this, he committed to playing for Yorkshire for the next two years by signing a contract.
