A clearly angered Will Smith stormed the stage and gave Chris Rock a slap after the comic made a joke about Smith’s spouse, actor Jada Pinkett Smith.

Chris Rock was on the Oscar stage to current the award for greatest documentary when he started by making a number of jokes about members of the present’s viewers, together with Pinkett Smith—referring to her as “G.I. Jane” as a result of her carefully cropped hair.
Shortly after the joke was made, Will Smith walked to the stage and slapped the comic throughout the face. He then returned to his seat and shouted, “Preserve my spouse’s title out of your fucking mouth.”
Smith later received an award and he used his acceptance speech to apologise to the Academy. Nonetheless, he didn’t apologise to Chris Rock.
