Yaa came into the limelight when she entered the stars of the future reality tv singing competition in the year 2009 with her brother.
Her brother was let go at the early stages of the competition while Yaa went on to win.
As part of her grand prize, she became an ambassador for telecommunications giant MTN for a year.
Her contract with MTN was subsequently renewed for the two consecutive years. She released her first single titled “AM I” which featured Sarkodie and Incredible”.
Her second break came when she featured on Okyeame Kwame’s song “Faithful”. She has started her own record label called Pyramid Entertainment.
She released her debut album called “AGOO” in a private event in February, 2020.
