Outspoken Ghanaian Blogger, Lucas Nluki says he feels rapper turned Evangelist, Yaw Siki wasted his talent by becoming a pastor.

In a Facebook post, he noted that Yaw Siki after repenting shouldn’t have shunned music but rather he could have become a gospel rapper.

Lucas remarked that he feels Yaw Siki could have won more souls to God through music than preaching full time.

In his words, Lucas wrote:

“I am happy for Yaw Siki’s change of life for the Better as he sees it but sometimes I feel he misinterpreted Gods message to him.

He was and still is a good rapper, why didn’t he just switch to rap gospel instead of being a pastor?

I don’t know where he preaches but I feel he would have reached and converted more souls for Christ if he had converted to a rap gospel musician.

Everybody has a choice to walk on so that might be his choice but I don’t think that’s the choice God expected him to follow, it will take time but he will realize it soon and drops a gospel rap album and if he doesn’t, well it will just be another sad story to be told in another new bible somewhere waiting for us to go instinct so they start writing it .

Happy family though”

After surviving a gory accident in 2013, the musician, born Isaac Okai, gave his life to Christ and started preaching the gospel. The accident on the Accra-Tema Motorway did not just leave him bedridden for months, but it also renewed his faith in God.

Yaw Siki, who had his debut hiplife song “Wope Dodo” in 2011, switched from secular music to gospel in appreciation of God’s favour for him and the second chance offered him.
