Founder of International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) Dr. Mensa Otabil has stated that Ghanaians must marry prayers and fasting with the adherence to preventive measures as the fight against the Coronavirus intensifies.
In an address to his church and to a large extent the nation, he reminded his listeners of the need to pray and seek God’s face in these trying moments.
However, he added that no one should relegate the preventive measures and rely solely on God because God has given human beings wisdom to function.
He went to admonish his listeners of God’s protection, love, and concern for their lives. But he stressed the fact that as we seek spiritual help, we should never throw the preventive measures and its adherence to the wind.
Ghana has since recorded 68 confirmed Coronavirus cases and today has been observed as a national day for prayer and fasting nationwide.
The nation has also implemented some drastic changes to curb the spread of the virus.
