When Shatta Wale released his “Kpuu Kpaa” song, BHIM fans said the song was first of all a Jama song, and that it doesn’t befit a Dancehall artiste to have a song titled “Kpuu Kpaa”.
They went on to say, the “Kpuu Kpaa” song wasn’t sensible and has poor lyrics.
Fast-forward,2 years later, Stonebwoy has also released a song titled “Kpoo k3k3“.
Taking cue from how they mocked Shatta’s “Kpuu Kpaa”, a Shatta fan is calling them out over their hypocrisy.
Below was what he wrote:
“The same people who were speaking against a dancehall artiste releasing a song with the title ‘Kpuu Kpaa’ is today jubilating over a dancehall artiste song ‘Kpo Keke’.
I always say that, some of the people who follow music don’t understand the dynamics.
If you see music as a business, you will not be speaking out of ignorance over why an artiste releases a certain trend of music.
In Ghana anything from Wale is whack to a certain group, but the same or similar thing from others be dope.
Just yesterday, Stonebwoy was seen jamming ‘madly’ to the Kpoo K3k3 song in the studios of Joy FM.
The song actually is a certified Xmas banger.
