Two young men in a bid to create more awareness of the COVID-19 has decided to mask up two statues erected in front of Great Lamptey Mills school in Dansoman.

In photos shared on Facebook, Philip Sabah and Jude Kwesi Duaquaye Tetteh thought it wise to do so to preach the message that the wearing of nose mask is key in fighting the Coroanavirus.

Sharing the photo, he wrote: “Yes, myself and Jude Kwesi DuaQuaye Tetteh masked these guys in front of a basic school (Great Lamptey Mills) in Dansoman. It’s to create more awareness on the need to mask up. #maskUp”

As it stands, the COVID-19 cases in Ghana is on a serious hike. More people are dying on a daily basis as more cases are also recorded.

Myjoyonline reports this morning that six more people in the country have died from the novel coronavirus, the Ghana Health Service (GHS) has reported.

Also, 679 persons have been infected with the virus bringing the country’s total confirmed cases to 60,794.

The new deaths bring the death toll to 367 and 3,286 active cases.
