Your mates are making it, we don’t have the same paths, God has different plan for each of us
An Open Letter to the one who feels like missing out in life. You feel stuck. You feel like you’re running out of time to chase your dreams and be who God has called you to be. You feel like everyone’s moving and you’ve been left out in life. You feel like you’re missing out….
An Open Letter to the one who feels like missing out in life.
You feel stuck. You feel like you’re running out of time to chase your dreams and be who God has called you to be. You feel like everyone’s moving and you’ve been left out in life. You feel like you’re missing out.
Hey, it’s okay. I understand. I really do. I know how it feels to see all these graduation pictures of your batch mates, seeing them enter relationships, seeing them in their dream jobs, your friends have already been to places that you’ve wanted to be, and yet you’re here. Still here.
I know that you’re happy for them. You are very supportive to their dreams, and that you’re celebrating with them. But I also understand how it feels that deep down, there’s that pinch in your heart, that says, I was supposed to be in that place too.
Nobody knew this would happen. You didn’t planned this. Life didn’t turn out the way you thought it would be, and now it hurts.
The thoughts and emotions drained you. You don’t know what to do anymore.
Hear me, it’s okay to feel that way. It’s okay to have the why’s and the when’s, the what if’s or will it ever be’s. But please, please don’t let it stop you from believing.
I understand exactly how it feels to be there. Why? Because I’m in that place too. Right now. And I want to encourage you that you are not alone.
This season doesn’t mean that God has forgotten us. That He cares about them more than us. THAT IS NOT TRUE. He has greater plans for us. To walk with Him and to wait for His promises is an ADVENTURE.
There will be mountains to climb and valleys to walk through. Storms will come along the way, but the Sun will always shine again.
We’ll face seasons of fall and winter, but spring and summer will always come. And in the end there will always be a paradise.
Recently, God keeps on reminding me Proverbs 3:5 “Trust in the Lord WITH ALL YOUR HEART.” He needs our Trust. Not our plans. Remember, He is the God of beautiful timings, He is never late.
We’re not in a competition. Just continue the race that was set before you.
We don’t have the same paths. God has different plan for each of us, and He has His own timing. And when that day comes, you will understand the beauty of this season. The beauty of waiting.
