Ouagadougou, Sep 28 (IANS) Eleven soldiers were killed in an assault on a stockpile caravan in northern Burkina Faso, the Burkina Faso government said in an explanation.

As per the assertion on Tuesday, a stock caravan under military escort and going to the city of Djibo was gone after by psychological militants close to the community of Gaskinde in Soum territory, the Sahel district, Xinhua news organization detailed.

The temporary cost remained at 11 soldiers killed, 28 injured, including 20 soldiers, and almost 50 regular people missing, the explanation added.

The assault likewise caused critical material harm, and a quest for the assailants was progressing, the assertion said.
