A Louisiana school local area is grieving the passings of three walking musicians, who were hit and killed by a semi truck recently. The people in question — Tyran Williams, 19, Broderick Moore, 19, and Dylan Youthful, 21 — were struck Tuesday night by a 1997 Freightliner that had floated onto the northward shoulder of Highway 49 north of Natchitoches, as per the Louisiana State Police.

The young fellows, who hailed from the Dallas region, were replacing a tire on their 1999 Jeep Laredo at the hour of the accident, LSP said. They died from wounds at the scene.

The semi driver, recognized by LSP as 62-year-old Clyde Gay of Coushatta, La., was not harmed. Each of the three casualties killed in Tuesday’s accident were individuals from the “Human Jukebox” walking band at Southern College, as per Head of Groups Kedric Taylor and President-Chancellor Dennis J. Safeguards.

Moore and Williams were green beans studying music, while Youthful was a sophomore studying mechanical designing, Safeguards said.

On Twitter, Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards respected the people in question and gave his sympathies to those affected by Tuesday’s misfortune.
