A live in Animation coming to Netflix?

Adam By Eve: A live in Animation is an upcoming anime film produced by Genki Kawamura and directed by Nobutaka Yoda. Kawamura also produced Your Name and Weathering With You. Yoda has helmed many works, such as trailers and music videos for We’re Still Underground and Fireworks.

What makes Adam By Eve special is that it consists of both live-action and animation. The animation is for a new song, Mob, and is created by the animation studio khara, which previously worked on the Evangelion series and Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time, which earned 10.2 billion yen at the box office. The animation portion is directed by studio member Hibiki Yoshizaki.

The live-action drama drives the story and stars former idol group You’ll Melt More! member Ano, a TV personality, model and singer that regularly performs in a wide array of media. Next-generation model Hanon also stars. The pair play high school girls in this portion of the film.

Adam By Eve is a transcendent experience combining anime, live action and music by the cutting-edge artist Eve. The actual story is inspired by the biblical tale of Adam and Eve. Netflix has rated the project TV-14 for some violence. Keep that in mind if you plan to watch with kids under the age of 14.

Here’s when you can watch the latest Netflix addition:
