Ada Ameh, a Nigerian actress who spent more than 20 years working in that country’s film business, is best known for playing Anita in the 1996 film “Domitilla” and Emu Johnson in the critically acclaimed Nigerian television series “The Johnsons.” She passed away on July 17, 2022.

Ameh featured in The Johnsons television series alongside prominent Nollywood actors such as Charles Inojie, Chinedu Ikedieze, and Olumide Oworu.

Ameh was born and raised in Ajegunle in Lagos State, which is situated in the southwest of Nigeria and is primarily populated by Yoruba speakers, despite coming from Idoma in Benue State.

Ameh attended elementary and secondary schools in Lagos State, but she quit studying at the age of 14.

Ameh Her first film role came in 1996 when she portrayed the role of Anita in the film “Domitila,” which went on to become a popular and reliable project.

Zeb Ejiro was the film’s producer and director. Ameh additionally appeared in The Johnsons, a popular Nigerian television program that won accolades.

In Warri, Delta State, she reportedly fell ill and passed sometime around 11 p.m. on Sunday. She reportedly passed away while visiting an oil business employee and his family in Delta city.

But when the results of her autopsy are made public, it will eventually help explain how she died.
