She entered the entertainment industry in 1995. She has previously acted in local musical theater performances as well as movies like Sepet and Gubra.
On June 18, 2022, Adibah passed away from ovarian cancer.
Adibah, a Kuala Lumpur native who had previously attended the National University of Malaysia, was a teacher who specialized in teaching English as a second language. In 1994, she competed in and won her first singing contest in a talent show named Suara 90-an Nescafe.
“Terlalu Istimewa,” Adibah’s debut album, was released in 2006. A ballad written in response to the horrifying rape and death of a 12-year-old girl that occurred in Johor Bahru in January 2004 was included on the album. The album received favorable reviews and was nominated for six awards at the 13th Anugerah Industri Muzik. It also won the Best Ballad and Best Vocal awards in the 21st Anugerah Juara Lagu.
