Adrián played for the C-team for his first two seasons and the reserves for the following five, all in Segunda División B, backing up successively René and Brimah Razak.

He was lent to Utrera in 2009 and Alcalá in 2008, and was third-choice for the first team in 2011–12 and he continued to play for the B’s, but in November he sustained a serious cruciate ligament injury that forced him to miss five and a half months of action.
