Al Roker is recuperating after a medical issue sent him to the clinic. The Today show weather conditions anchor — who has been missing from the NBC morning show for about fourteen days at this point — gave a report on his whereabouts Friday morning, uncovering in an Instagram post that he’s been getting clinical treatment for blood clusters.

“So many of you have been mindfully asking where I’ve been,” composed Roker, 68, inscribing a photograph of a bundle of roses.

“Last week I was confessed to the medical clinic with a blood coagulation in my leg which sent a few coagulations into my lungs.”

“After some clinical whack-a-mole, I am so lucky to get stupendous clinical consideration and en route to recuperation,” he added.

Roker closed, “Gratitude for every one of the warm words and supplications and desire to see you soon. Have an incredible end of the week, everybody.”

Roker has been a staple on Today as the program’s debut weather conditions anchor starting around 1996, however showed up as a substitute weathercaster from 1990 to 1995, filling in for the late Willard Scott before his semiretirement. While Roker has been managing his medical problems, Dylan Dreyer has been filling in for him on Today. She and anchors Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb, Craig Melvin and Carson Daly sent their associate kindly words on Friday’s show. “He’s feeling great, we’ve all conversed with him,” said Guthrie, 50, with co-anchor Kotb, 58, pushing, “He’s in extraordinary spirits.”

“Not that you want us to let you know how extraordinary Al is nevertheless whenever I first called him he quickly said, ‘Hello Dylly Dill, how are the young men?’ ” Kotb added, taking note of his energy and interest in her family even during a period of individual concern: “How are you going to get some information about the children? That is exemplary Al.”

Daly, 49, proceeded to take note of how Roker is known for sharing recordings of his exercises each day. “We want him back,” Daly said.

“He moves me consistently in light of the fact that when I awaken I see him on his treadmill. He’s strolling here to work. I’m like, ‘Okay, presently I got to work out.’ ”

“It’s difficult to dial back Al yet he’s recuperating and he’s en route to recuperation,” Guthrie added. “I couldn’t say whether he watches this show yet we love you, Al. We miss you.”
