Football player Alex Anzalone attended the University of Florida. He was chosen by the New Orleans Saints in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He was chosen as the eleventh linebacker in 2017.
On June 2, 2017, Anzalone and the New Orleans Saints agreed to a four-year, $3.46 million contract that included a $864,592 signing bonus. As a rookie, Anzalone started each of the Saints’ four games at outside linebacker. He suffered an injury in Week 4’s matchup with the Dolphins and was put on injured reserve on October 4 of that year.
