Doctors deemed Alex’s future football career unlikely after he survived a life-threatening injury while playing for the Washington Redskins in 2018. But when the athlete made a comeback in 2020, he astounded everyone.
Alex announced his retirement after leading the Washington team to the NFC East division and a few games, citing that his family was his top goal in life.
