Alexandra Carla Chidiac (born 15 January 1999) is a professional soccer player from Australia who currently plays as a midfielder for Racing Louisville in the National Women’s Soccer League and for the Australia women’s national team.
Chidiac was born in Sydney, New South Wales, but when she was three months old, her family relocated to Adelaide, South Australia, and she now considers herself a South Australian.
Her football career started with Croydon Kings, where she played alongside guys. In 2011, Chidiac won the under-14B title. She was picked to play in the Football Federation South Australia Women’s Premier League for an FFSA Under 14/15 team.
After scoring 33 goals in 2013, Chidiac was named Premier League player of the year. In July 2013, she was awarded tournament winner at the National Youth Championships in Coffs Harbour. She attended Adelaide’s St. Mary’s College and continued her studies through correspondence after moving to Melbourne.
