During the aforementioned time, he played for the North Melbourne Football Club, where he played 220 games and scored 311 goals.

From 1971 to 1976, Allen Aylett served as the North Melbourne Football Club’s president. Allen Aylett stood 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighed 80 kilograms.
During his time playing soccer for the Pointers, he won several accolades and medals. Some of these Medals represent the Tassie Medal from 1958 and the Simpson Medal from 1960. Additionally, he earned All-Australian honours in 1958 and 1961.
