The American Society of Cinematographers handed out its high prize in characteristic movie visible storytelling to “Dune.” Final 12 months’s winner, Erik Messerschmidt for “Mank,” introduced the characteristic movie prize to Greig Fraser.
The thirty sixth Annual ASC Awards ceremony returned to a restricted in-person part on the the ASC Clubhouse in Hollywood. Debbie Allen served because the evening’s host.
Different winners included “Pig,” which gained the highlight award ,and James Laxton, who took dwelling the movement image, restricted collection, or pilot made for tv award for “The Underground Railroad.”
Rachel Morrison, Stephen Hopkins and Jay Holben have been among the many cinematographers who introduced the honoree awards. Ellen Kuras, ASC acquired the lifetime achievement award. Peter Levy, ASC, ACS was honored with the profession achievement in tv award, whereas John Lindley, ASC was introduced with the president’s award and Dan Sasaki was bestowed with the Curtis Clark technical achievement award.
