Perea’s career took off when he finished his youth career with the local team Tampa Bay United. In 2016, he transferred to the United States Soccer Development Academy.
Perea joined the Philadelphia Union Academy in 2017 and made his professional debut in 2019.
In 2022, Perea was loaned to New York City FC. He has also made 15 appearances for the team, scoring one goal.
