Angelika Kluk was working as a cleaner at St Patrick’s church in Anderston, Glasgow. Angelika Kluk was a Gdańsk University undergraduate, who had spent the summer in Scotland to fund her language studies, According to her boyfriend, Angelika Kluk vanished on 24 September 2006. During the police investigations, Pat McLaughlin was one of the three suspects in Angelika Kluk’s disappearance. This Pat McLaughlin was no other man than Peter Tobin who had disguised himself and had been off the radar in his service in his first murder case.

According to the autopsy report read by pathologist Dr Julie McAdam, Angelika Kluk passed away following six head strikes and 19 knife wounds and the crime had all the characteristics of a homicide with a sexual motive.
Dr Julie also testified before the High Court in Edinburgh that Angelika may have died from just the head and knife wounds and the gag in her mouth.
Her liver was also harmed in the attack, and both of her lungs collapsed.
In addition to being bound, Angelika had semen in her vagina, knife wounds to her breasts, her pants were undone, and her blouse and bra were forced up her chest.
