Ansel Adams was born on 20th February 1902 in San Francisco. Ansel Adams was a photographer who doubled as an environmentalist. Most of his art was in a black-and-white format.
Ansel Adams first made contact with the Sierra Club, the biggest and most effective environmental defence group in America, three years later, when he was 17 years old.

America’s finest photographer was born to Charles Hitchcock Adams, a businessman, and Olive Bray, homemaker. Unfortunately, they are both late.

Adams wrote 10 volumes of technical photography instructions, many of which are still in use today. Adams was a technical prodigy when it came to photography. Many other photographers and businesses, including Polaroid and Hasselbad, frequently sought Adams’ technical counsel.

Ansel Adams’s cause of death

The legendary photographer Ansel Adams died on 22nd April 1984 in California. It is confirmed his cause of death was complications of cardiovascular disease which he survived for some time. At the time of his death, Ansel was 82 years.
