Anurag Kashyap daughter: Who is Aaliyah Kashyap?

Anurag Kashyap, an Indian actor and filmmaker best known for his Hindi-language film work, was born on September 10, 1972.

His father, Sri Prakash Singh, retired as the Chief Engineer of the Uttar Pradesh Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited and was assigned to the Obra Thermal Power Station in the Sonbhadra district close to Varanasi.

He attended the Green School in Dehradun for his early education before moving on to the Scindia School in Gwalior when he was eight years old.

His own old home, where he lived with his parents, sister Anubhuti Kashyap, and brother Abhinav Kashyap, served as inspiration for some of the locations in Gangs of Wasseypur. Abhinav is also a filmmaker, and Anubhuti has worked with him on most of his projects.

In 2013, the French government honoured him with the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters) for his contributions to cinema.
