A popular Nigerian restaurateur, Ani King, has opined that any married man who allows his mother to live with him together with his wife isn’t supposed to be married in the first place.

“Any married man who allows his mom to live with him, isn’t supposed to be married in the first place”, he shared in a popular Facebook group.

One cannot tell why he has said this as a matter-of-factly, perhaps, he’s speaking from experience.

Nonetheless, his school-of-thought is very apt. Because when a man lives together with his mother and wife, both of them would be competing for attention.

Normally, some mothers when they do not receive the necessary attention from their son would do everything to make the man’s wife look bad in his eyes.

All these breeds unnecessary contentions.
