They are Charlie Haden’s daughters, a jazz double-bassist. The triplets have featured in records and live performances, which includes the Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, Weezer, Beck, Green Day, Todd Rundgren, the Rentals, and Silversun Pickups, both individually and together. Petra and Rachel are members of the That Dog. The triplets had previously played as The Fates on Anais Mitchell’s Hadestown and in concert together.
The Haden Triplets, released their joint debut, which is a Ry Cooder-produced vocal album, it was released in 2014 on Jack White’s Third Man Records, and it featured songs by the Carter Family, Bill Monroe, the Stanley Brothers, Webb Pierce, Kitty Wells, and the Louvin Brothers. They shared the stage on January 13, 2015, at the Town Hall in New York City’s Charlie Haden Memorial Concert.
