Jimmy Butler III is an American professional basketball player who was born on September 14, 1989, in Houston, Texas, United States of America. He currently plays as a small forward for the Miami Heat of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Jimmy Butler began playing basketball in high school, at the Tomball High School. He continued to play in college after he was enrolled at the Marquette University on an athletic scholarship. He began playing professionally during the 2011 NBA Draft when he was drafted by the Chicago Bulls with the 30th overall pick.
