He comes from a family that is related to oil tycoon and philanthropist Armand Hammer. He was also the founder of the famous baking soda company called Arm and Hammer. He spent his childhood in the Dallas neighborhood of Highland Park and later when he was five his family moved to the Cayman Islands and later came back to Los Angeles. He has done his schooling at Faulkner’s Academy in the Cayman Islands and later he went to Grace Christian Academy. Subsequently, he went to the Los Angeles Baptist High School in San Fernando Valley. After that, he took some courses at UCLA. His parents decided to disown him when he left his studies to take up acting as a full-time career but have subsequently become supportive of his work.
