Asad Rauf cause of death

Asad Rauf is a well-known cricket umpire and player. His birthday is May 12, 1956, and he was born in Pakistan. Rauf was a member of the ICC Elite Umpire Panel from 2006 to 2013, and Rauf is accused of match-fixing and spot-fixing in cricket contests.

The BCCI convicted Rauf guilty of wrongdoing and banned him for five years in February 2016. Rauf died on September 15, 2022.

Rauf officiated an ICC World Twenty20 group stage match between India and Afghanistan in September 2012.

Rauf, who joined the ICC Elite Panel of Umpires in 2006, umpired in 47 Tests, 98 one-day internationals, and 23 Twenty20 internationals before being dropped in June 2013 following an annual review of their performance, with an appreciation for Asad’s outstanding contributions over a long period of time.

Asad Rauf was on his way home after closing his shop when he suffered a heart arrest and died, Tahir said.
