Azjah Early Life and Education
She grew up in Compton California, in a housing project called New Wilmington Arms. At the time, her brother called Cholo was sentenced to life for attempted murder.
Little Azjah had to work hard and provided her infant niece as the responsibility fell on her shoulders. She graduated from the Paramount High School on the 13th of June, 2013 with a diploma.
Azjah Career
Prior to her music career, she worked as a security personnel at FedEx. She began her music career immediately after finishing high school.
She started recording freestyles with an artist called Jrias Law. She released her first single titled “Warm Up” in March of 2017.
The song went viral and she dedicated it to her brother Cholo. In the year 2018, Aja was named the Princess of Compton in the streets of Compton.
She was initially compared to Dej Loaf but Azjah has been able to develop her sound unique to Dej Loaf’s jam.
She hosted a block party in her native Compton in partnership with the record label EMPIRE and REAL 92.3.
