Balwinder Safri, a veteran Punjabi singer has passed away on Tuesday, 26 July 2022 at the age of 63 years. He was a singer who was centered on the Bhangra scene right since the 1980s until his death.
Balwinder Safri was born in Punjab but was well established in Birmingham, England in the United Kingdom. In the 1990, he established a boys band which was known as the Safri Boyz Band.
It was reported that Balwinder Safri has been in coma as a result of brain damage following a heart surgery in April 2022. He was sent to a rehabilitation centre after some period of admission at the Wolverhampton’s New Cross Hospital.
