Barron went to Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School in Manhattan and speaks English and Slovene.
After his father was elected president, Barron did not immediately relocate into the White House; instead, he stayed at Trump Tower with his mother until the end of the 2016–2017 school year.
He and his mother moved into the White House on June 11, 2017.
He enrolled at St. Andrew’s Episcopal School in Potomac, Maryland, in June 2017 and was scheduled to start ninth grade in the fall of 2020.
Barron is recognized for his enthusiasm for soccer, and he was chosen to play for D.C. United’s Development Academy’s U-12 team for the 2017–2018 season.
In February 2019, he was a member of the Arlington Soccer Association.
