Movie Producer, Amandzeba, has fumed against the appointment of Bill Asamoah to be the Ambassador of Ghana’s Tourism Ambassador.
In an interview on Kumasi-based Abusua FM, Amandzeba stated that Bill Asamoah is an NDC member and hence do not deserve his current position.
“Bill Asamoah does not have to say he is here or there, but again these were people who were working underground 2016, Bill Asamoah was part of those who were underground campaigning for former President Mahama,” he disclosed.
Bill Asamoah was quickly contacted to react to the allegations leveled against him and he stated that he didn’t campaign for former Prez Mahama, neither is he an NDC member but as a good Ghanaian, he works for the government but not for any political party.
The Minister of Tourism, Arts, and Culture, Catherine Afeku revealed actor Bill Asamoah as the new Ambassador for Tourism in Ghana some few days ago.
The minister in a Facebook post revealed the actor was unanimously nominated by members of Kumawood [the local movie industry] after months of deliberation.
