Hope, who was born in Bridge of Allan, Stirlingshire, played for West Bromwich Albion in the Football League Premier League from 1959 to 1972.
Throughout the 1960s, he was the team’s center general, a refined, plotting inside-forward.
Hope provided ammunition for Tony Brown and Jeff Astle, as well as Clive Clark on the flank. During that time, Hope won the Premiership in 1966 and the FA Cup in 1968.
