Additionally, he currently holds a career-high world No. 222 doubles ranking. Van de Zandschulp won the ATP Challenger singles and doubles titles in Hamburg and Alphen, respectively.
Van de Zandschulp made his breakthrough in the quarterfinals of the 2021 US Open, becoming just the third qualifier in the tournament’s history to do so after defeating top seeds Casper Ruud and Diego Schwartzman.
Along with Frank Dancevic in 2011 and Elias Ymer in 2015, he was the third person to qualify for the main draw of all four major tournaments in a calendar year.
At the 2022 Bavarian International Tennis Championships, Van de Zandschulp reached his first ATP Tour final.
