He died on June 7th in the evening, with his family and Boxing South Africa issuing a joint statement on Wednesday to announce his unexpected death.
Due to the head traumas he had incurred, he turned away from his opponent. Given the strange circumstances of his defeat, a video of the battle went viral on Sunday.
