Brandon Boston Jr. attended Norcross High School in Norcross, Georgia, before transferring to Sierra Canyon School in the Chatsworth neighborhood of Los Angeles in 2019. He played on the same field as Zaire Wade and Bronny James, sons of Dwyane Wade and LeBron James, respectively.
Brandon Boston Jr. was selected to play in the 2020 McDonald’s All-American Boys Game. He was also selected to take part in the 2020 Jordan Brand Classic. In the 2021 NBA Draft, the Memphis Grizzlies selected Boston as the 51st overall pick in the second round. However, he was subsequently transferred from the Grizzlies to the Los Angeles Clippers through the New Orleans Pelicans.
