Some Ghanaians believe that the juju is at work when they witness their spouse acting in a way that goes against social norms. A man must be under some sort of spell if he does the dishes or prepares meals for his wife. He isn’t acting freely, in the words of the Akans, or “enye nani.”

The truth is, though, that when you fall in love, a lot of chemicals in your brain are released, putting you in a state that, in some ways, mimics being insane. In direct proportion to the level of stimulation, your “madness” and potentially pathological displays of affection increase.

Can Juju Get Your Ex Back?

No!, however, according to others, when juju rules are broken, it loses their influence and compels lovers to act in ways that are socially acceptable. Juju is no longer present, or “ate nani so” in Akan.

However, the stimulation that promotes strong connection eventually wears off. Either three months or three years could pass before it ends. Therefore, talismans, potions, blood, or powder have no bearing on a lover’s behaviour. Our suffering is brought on by ignorance.

Some couples believe that using juju can help them win back their ex-partners. Therefore, many Ghanaians seek the help of bogus pastors and mallams to meet partners, win back lost love, change a poor relationship into a good one, and stop rivals from controlling their loved ones.

Two years ago, a man’s three-year girlfriend broke up with him. He was upset because he had spent a lot of money helping her pay for college only to find out that once she graduated, she couldn’t marry a “fitter.”

The man went to a juju man to try to persuade the woman to come back or become crippled. He agreed to “show” the mallam by going to a stronger mallam if it didn’t work after paying a hefty consultation fee. That was also inadequate.
