You must have the belief that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is Allah’s ultimate earthly messenger and that Allah is the only God who has ever existed. You can become a Muslim by reciting this phrase in front of two witnesses while being completely sincere. That’s truly all there is to it.

Fajr (sunrise prayer), Dhuhr (noon prayer), Asr (afternoon prayer), Maghrib (evening prayer), and Isha are the five daily prayers (night prayer).

Haram is an Arabic word that means “forbidden” or “illegal.” Muslims are prohibited from investing in, acquiring, or otherwise participating in transactions involving prohibited goods and activities, such as those related to pork, alcohol, gambling, and pornography. Halal is the antithesis of haram.

 

Can you smoke while fasting in Islam?
