Betty had involved herself in most of the school events such as music, plays and student council. Her dream job from her infancy was to be an elementary school teacher, this is from late Betty’s brother Ronald Pomeroy.

It was two neighbours of the Gore’s, Richard Parker and Lester Gayler, who Pat asked to check on her wife who discovered the remains of Betty.
