Carleton Varney holds a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Fine Arts from Oberlin College. After, he started teaching Spanish, French and History at New Rochelle Academy in New York. In 1969, he went on to pursue and earned a master’s degree in Fine Arts Education at New York University.
Carleton Varney passed away on July 14, 2022, in Palm Beach Gardens at the age of 85 years.
