He worked very hard from a young age and has earned all of his accomplishments.
Carlos developed a sincere passion for music at a young age and began learning to play the violin at age 5. He was raised in a home filled with music thanks to his father, a Mariachi (Traditional music from Western Mexico) musician.
Three years later, he began playing the guitar, which, unbeknownst to him, was a wise investment in his future. His younger brother, who is also a great guitarist, was influenced by his love of the instrument.
Carlos has released 7 studio albums as a result of his perseverance and consistency over the years. The Kennedy Centre recognized him in 2013 by naming him an honoree.
Carlos had four nominations and has won ten awards.
