On April 4, 2022, Ruud achieved his career-high singles rating of world No. 7, becoming him the highest-ranked Norwegian player ever.

He is the famous son of Christian Ruud, a former professional tennis player.

Casper Ruud is recognized as one of his generation’s most promising young players.

Rudd was named to the Norwegian Davis Cup team in 2015.
