Since 2017, he has served as an analyst for the Madden NFL series alongside Brandon Gaudin.
He has previously worked for Fox Sports, TBS, ESPN, The Golf Channel, and Sun Sports, and is presently an analyst for the NFL Network (now Bally Sports Sun).
He was the George S. Sasin Professor of Chemistry there until 1995, when he transferred to Temple University.

The Laura H. Carnell Professor of Chemistry at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is Franklin Arnold Davis (born April 1, 1939).
He is well known for developing sulfur-nitrogen reagents such as N-sulfonyloxaziridine for oxidations and asymmetric hydroxylations, and N-sulfinyl imines for chiral amine derivative asymmetric synthesis.
Davis oxaziridines and Davis sulfinamides are the two reagents that are often used. Davis’ reagent and Davis oxidation are both named after him.
